Gaston, the village brawn, is madly in love with Beauty but she’s having none of it. Her father the "mad inventor" Maurice accidentally steals a rose when taking refuge from a storm in the Beast's Castle but the Beast catches him. The only way to get Maurice out of prison is for Beauty to change places with her father so that she becomes the Beast's prisoner. But the Beast is under a spell, a magic spell cast on him by Fiona, an evil temptress, and to break his spell the Beast needs to fall in love. But will Beauty be the girl? Can he control his roar for long enough? Lots of classic panto moments especially when we meet Dame Patty Potty the outrageous castle cook.

ABOUT OUR PANTOMIMES
All the pantomimes have a running time of between 95 and 110 minutes. They do not have an interval but they have a mark in the text where the interval can be taken. Each of them has a traditional pantomime routine this is marked above in the text.
You can change any part of the text you want. You can add characters, cut lines, change the order of scenes, move the position of songs. Published editions of pantomimes do not permit this change of text. Mine do! In fact you can do anything you want EXCEPT resell it.
The songs chosen are just suggestions. Use of music depends on your venue.

Many venues are covered by a P.R.S. licence. That aside, most people are relaxed about this aspect of the production.
